The Armed Forces Medical Complex in Alexandria, under the auspices of the Department of the Armed Forces Medical Services, organized a conference on GAHAR accreditation to bridge the gap between planning and implementation in accordance with Vision of Egypt 2030, in cooperation with the General Authority for Healthcare Accreditation and Regulation (GAHAR), and the Quality Experts from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia representing the White Cell Group for Consultancy and Training , which was held on Thursday, December 1st, 2022. The activities of conference included the topic of mechanisms of applying for accreditation, the standards and conditions of Egyptian accreditation, the new steps provided by GAHAR, the importance of accreditation in the various medical sectors in hospitals, pharmacies and laboratories , and the practical experiences implemented by many countries of the world in general , and the Arab countries in particular in this field. This comes within the framework of the keenness of the armed forces to support the medical and health system to provide advanced services in all medical fields to the Egyptian people.
