ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

Pediatric Surgery Department provides excellent medical care for all patients and receives emergency cases around the clock and receives premature cases by a group of consultants and specialists to deal with critical and complex cases and non-emergency cases through outpatient clinics

What the department offers :

  • Pediatric surgery cases such as (congenital hernia – thyroid cysts – congenital cysts in the neck).
  • Repair of congenital defects of the urethra and kidneys.
  • Repair of congenital defects of the genitals.
  • Repair congenital defects of the digestive system such as (obstruction of the esophageal, gastric and duodenal atresia).
  • Receiving Emergency cases such as (appendectomy – intestinal intussusception).
