ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The operations department consists of (17) operating rooms with the latest equipment of infrastructure and medical auxiliary devices (modern anesthesia devices – microsurgical microscopes – regular and advanced radiology devices – surgical endoscopes) .
All surgeries are performed in general and microsurgical specialties.Operations are performed through interventional radiology (cerebral catheter – peripheral blood vessels) .
Using the latest sterile equipment and methods for operating rooms and tools used in infection control to ensure patient safety.

Anesthesia Department
SERVICES

One of the tasks of the Anesthesiology and Operations Department is to provide :

  • Anesthesia clinic to evaluate cases before performing surgical operations to increase the safety rates of interventional procedures and surgical operations..
  • Anesthesia of high-risk cases that are transferred from outside the hospital due to the availability of the qualified medical staff in anesthesia and modern capabilities required for that in the complex..
  • The use of the latest technological devices such as: normal and flexible laryngeal Fibro-optic endoscope in anesthesia of laryngeal tumorscases, morbid obesity cases and maxillofacial cases..
  • Ultrasound to perform surgical interventions with local or regional anesthesia in cases that have a history of complications from general anesthesiain previous operations to ensure the patient’s safety and avoid such complications..
  • The anesthesia department provides a post-operative pain management service that ensures the patient has painless surgery (PCA)..
  • Theanesthesia department provides the service of treating chronic pain resulting from tumors or spinal pain with interventional radiology and local anesthesia..
