The Chest diseases Department is characterized by a modern set of thoracoscopic devices that help diagnose pneumonia, lung tumors and bronchial diseases.
Pulmonary functions tests devices are available to know the efficiency of the lungs before performing surgical interventions and diagnosing chronic diseases.

Services of the thoraco-scopes and bronchoscopes unit Diagnosis and treatment :

Inflammation of the lungs and airways.
Tumors of the lungs and airways.
Broncho-alveolar lavage and taking samples to diagnose the organism that causes inflammation.
Taking biopsies of the airways and lungs to diagnose tumors and various disorders of the lungs.
Treatment of acute obstruction of the lungs and airways as a result of tumors and Polyps.
